CDA Institute's 18th Graduate Student Symposium Papers
Ottawa, 31 March 2016 - The CDA Institute is pleased to release the top three papers from its 18th Annual Graduate Student Symposium as part of its Vimy Paper series. The three authors featured - all graduate students - developed their presentations into these quality publications:

Some sixty engineers from 35 Combat Engineer Regiment took part in Exercise DÉMINEUR POLAIRE at Lake Hayes on CFB Valcartier from 16 to 31 January 2016.
Chilliwack Lake Sapper Park Monument

Pictures are worth a thousand words and these pictures show a “Sapper” monument that needs our help. Located at the south end of Chilliwack Lake, it no longer favourably represents Sappers. We are confident that with the aid of the Sapper Family, we can turn this around and once again give it meaning and purpose.

I’m Russ Anstey, one of two civilian Roofing Contracts Inspectors at Real Property Operations Section (Halifax). I joined the military in 1994. Since then, I’ve been stationed in Calgary, Edmonton, Moncton and Halifax, and I’ve deployed to Central Africa, the Quebec ice storm, Kosovo, Hurricane Katrina, Afghanistan and Kandahar.
