It is time to update our website. In its current form, it was launched in 2014. In those ten years, web technology advanced to the point we may no longer be able to protect it from hackers and more and more members are using mobile devices to access it. These are the main factors driving the need for a significant re-build.

The CMEA is pleased to announce the names of this year's eleven CMEA Memorial Bursary recipients. 

Historica Canada is excited to share this NEW #HeritageMinute celebrating Edwin Baker, co-founder of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. After losing his vision during the First World War, Edwin Baker brought his determination back to Canada and co-founded the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Check out this new #HeritageMinute by @HistoricaCanada celebrating his legacy.

Each month, Salute! newsletter provides news about:

• benefits and services available to Veterans and their families and tips on accessing them;
• remembrance and commemoration activities in Canada and abroad; and
• other events, including public consultations.

You will also see stories about today's Veterans, their challenges and successes, and how they contribute to their communities after leaving the military.

In honour of the 80^th anniversary of the D-Day landings, the Defence Attaché Office of Canada in France and the Canadian Military Engineers are presenting 80 Izzy doll shadow boxes to communities in France as a tangible symbol of the enduring friendship between Canada and France.
