On 19 May 2023, the Colonel Commandant presented the Major General John Arthur Stewart Trophy  to  29252 OCdt James Lynes of Nanaimo, BC. OCdt James is a Construction Engineer. His field of Study was Civil Engineering. 

CMEA Bursary 2023: Grand Total of $18,000 (nine individual bursaries of $2.000)

1. Applications are open to CMEA members and dependents of current or deceased CMEA members.
2. Applicants must have completed or be in their final year of secondary schooling and preparing to attend or continuing a program at a certified post-secondary educational institution.

WO Mike Villani has been selected to represent Canada on Operation GOLDEN ORB, the Coronation of King Charles III.

WO Mike Villani enrolled in the CAF as a Vehicle Tech in 2002. Upon completion of his trades training, he was posted to 1 GS BN at CFB Edmonton, until his release from the CAF in 2006.

As the years go by, the world situation appears to be worsening, be it from natural disasters associated with climate change, conflicts in Ukraine, tensions in the China Sea, or hostilities in the Middle East. As Canadian Military Engineers, we are expected to be ready to respond when called upon just as we always have. On 29 April 2023, we will commemorate the 120^th anniversary of the Canadian Military Engineers.
