Harold Douglas Place

We regret to advise of the death of Harold Douglas Place of Viking, AB on 19 August 2008 at the age of 93 years.

Harold was born in Viking.  He was a veteran of the Second World War and served in the 13^th Field Company, Royal Canadian Engineers in Italy and Holland.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #81 in Viking.

A Celebration of his life will be held on 25 August at 2:00 PM in the Viking United Church.  Donations in Harold's memory can be made to the Viking Health Centre's palliative care unit or the Viking Handivan Society that provides a shuttle service to Seniors in the community.  ^{{dcMar2018gd} [zcc, zpp]}
