PO 2 George Edward "Ed" Trenholm, CD (Ret’d)

We regret to advise of the death of Firefighter Petty Officer Second Class George Edward "Ed" Trenholm, CD (Ret’d) at the Quinte Health Care - Picton Memorial Hospital on Monday, 12 June 2023 in his 76^th year.

Ed served his country with the Canadian Forces as a Firefighter for 38 years. He started his career with the Royal Canadian Navy in the Air Bos’n 581 trade and then crossed over to the Firefighter 651 trade on Unification. He served on HMCS Bonaventure and in the Fire Service across Canada before retiring at Canadian Forces Base Trenton.

Cremation will take place and a service to celebrate his life will be held at Weaver - West Chapel {170 Dundas St West} on Friday, 23 June 2023 at 2:00 pm.
