Spr James M. “Jim” Erskine (Ret'd)

We regret to advise of the death of Sapper James M. “Jim” Erskine (Ret'd) of St. Catharines, ON at the St. Catherines General Hospital on 7 December 2012 at the age of 88 years.

Jim was a Royal Canadian Engineer veteran of the Second World War.  After the war, he worked for many years at the Domtar Paper Mill in St. Catharines.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Merritton Branch #138.

Friends will be received on 11 December at the Pleasantville Funeral Home in Fonthill, ON from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM in the Pleasantview Chapel.  Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Merritton Legion Branch #138 Poppy Fund or The War Amps.  ^{{dcJan19gd} [zsp, zsd]}
