National Peacekeepers' Day

Veterans, members of CPVA, friends, and families are invited to attend the National Peacekeepers’ Day ceremony at The Reconciliation monument in downtown Ottawa, beginning at 0945 hrs on Sunday, 10 August 2025. All are welcome in their preferred order of dress.

The theme this year will highlight three significant anniversaries: Congo (65 years), India-Pakistan (60 years) and Cambodia (35 years). In recognition of these milestones, the Reviewing Officer will be Major-General (Retired) Lewis W. Mackenzie, CM, MSC, OOnt, CD.

Following the ceremony, a hosted buffet and reception (excluding alcohol purchases) will occur at Tavern at the Gallery (beside the National Gallery of Canada, 380 Sussex Drive). 

Parking is available at the National Gallery of Canada, 380 Sussex Drive, with 50 passes provided for those on parade.
