There have been a number of changes to the National Executive Committee (NEC) over the past few years brought about by postings, changes in health, and the end-of-term in some positions.
You will recall that the NEC consists of a Board of Directors, limited by our Corporate Articles at six Board members, as well as a team of advisors to the Board consisting of various Vice Presidents, some ex-officio members of the CME, and a number of representatives from across the CME Branch. Please note the vacancy in the position of CMEA Senior Vice President. We are searching for a new VP in this position, who under normal circumstances serves as VP for a period of three years before assuming the position of CMEA President. Please consider offering your name to that position or nominating someone you think would benefit themselves, the CME and the Association.
