Murray C. Canning

We regret to advise of the death of Murray C. Canning of Parrsboro NS on 4 May 2002 at Highland View Regional Hospital in Amherst NS at the age of 73 years.

Murray was born in Parrsboro and served in the Canadian Army in the Royal Canadian Engineers, the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and the Black Watch  (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada. He was a member of the Black Watch Association, Atlantic Branch. He was a retired carpenter, having worked for many years in Peterborough ON and Parrsboro.

Murray was laid to rest in the St. George's Anglican Church cemetery in Parasboro. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada, Maritime Region, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or to a charity of choice. ^{{dcDec19wd} [zsd, zpp]}
