Major-General John Arthur Stewart Trophy - 2025

Submitted by Maj Alexander Landry, CMEA Secretary

This past weekend, the Canadian Military Engineers Association (CMEA) presented the Major-General John Arthur Stewart Trophy at the RMC 2025 Graduation Parade.

The award is given to the top Military Engineer cadet in their graduating year, recognizing exceptional proficiency in academics, athletics, military performance, and bilingualism. This year’s recipient, 29957 OCdt  Tahirah Chant, a Civil Engineering graduate, demonstrated remarkable excellence across all four pillars of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) experience. OCdt Chant will soon begin her military career at CFB Gagetown, where we are confident she will continue to excel.

Congratulations, OCdt Chant – the future of our engineering community is in great hands.

Chimo!

(L-R) Col (Ret’d) John Lesperance, Alexander Landry, OCdt Tahirah Chant, and Maj Alexander Landry, Secretary
