Cpl John Smith (Ret’d)

We regret to advise of the death of Corporal John Smith (Ret’d), peacefully on 6 April 2022 at his home in Barrie ON at the age of 80. 

John served with the Royal Canadian Engineers. After leaving the military, he worked for several organizations including as an usher at the original Montreal Forum and with Air Canada where he was an airframe technician.

A memorial service has taken place. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Royal Victoria Health Foundation – Barrie. Online memories and condolences may be forwarded to the funeral home.
