Charles Michael Thomas “Charley” King

We regret to advise of the death of Charles Michael Thomas “Charley” King at the Monfort Hospital in Ottawa ON on 6 May 2012 at the age of 74.

Charley was born in Ottawa.  He served with the Mapping and Charting Establishment for 16 years as a civilian draftsman.  He was also a Quartermaster Sergeant reservist with the Armoured Corps.  After leaving MCE he held a variety of jobs; as a proof-reader with the Ottawa Journal; with Canada Post; and with the Department of Agriculture.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #372 in Russell ON.

Visitation will be at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road, Ottawa on 10 May from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Legion service in the evening.   A memorial service will be held on 11 May in the Chapel at 1 p.m. ^{{gdSep2016kh}}
