We regret to advise of the death of Bernard “Bern” Greaves Watts, suddenly, at Lions Gate Hospital in Vancouver, BC on 7 January 2003 at the age of 80.
Bern was born in Winnipeg, MB. He joined the Canadian Army and was a WW II veteran who served in Europe with the Royal Canadian Artillery and Royal Canadian Engineers. After the war, he graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Mechanical Engineering Degree and worked for BC Hydro until retirement. He was an active member of the Vancouver Senior’s Centre and the S.P.C.A., in West Vancouver.
By request, there will be no funeral. A private gathering will take place at his home on 14 January from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. for close friends. Donations may be made to the S.P.C.A., Salvation Army or the Cancer Society. {gdDec2016kh} [ zpp, zsd, zcc}
